The house is ideally located for exploring the whole of Provence, from the Côtes du Rhone with its excellent vineyards in the north, to the city of Marseilles in the south, from Montpellier, Arles, Nimes and Uzes in the west to the Verdon Gorges and the Alpes de Haute Provence in the east. There are daily local markets in the Luberon, Roman antiquities in St Rémy and Vaison la Romaine, music, dance and theatre festivals take place within 10 minutes to 1 hour of the house You can choose when you want to relax by the pool or when you want to be a ‘culture vulture’, when you want to eat simply with local produce in your own kitchen or when you want to treat yourself to gourmet cuisine in a nearby restaurant. For children sandy beaches are not far away and within 20 minutes they can enjoy supervised sailing on a lake, playing mini-golf, going on a fun’assault course’, canoeing or Kayaking along the Sorgue or enjoying a pony ride. And at the house, there’s swimming, tennis, boules, table tennis or watching DVDs or satellite TV.
