La Maison d’Olivier is divided into 2 different buildings.  The large 3 bedroom 2 bathroom Farmhouse,  and the one bedroom ’cottage’.  There are cool and shady gardens with various sitting areas as well as  a delightful pool with terrace area for sunbathing and relaxing.  
 
Location
Located in the tranquil hamlet of Les Martins, La Maison d’Olivier is a 50 minute drive from Marseille’s, Marignane airport,(British Airways, Easy jet, Ryanair) 35 minutes from the TGV station at Avignon and 30 minutes from Avignon airport.  Nîmes airport is 1 hour 15 minutes away and Montpellier 1 and a half hours away.  Although only 15 minutes from the A7 motorway the house is in the depth of the Luberon countryside in peaceful and pretty surroundings.
 
Things to see and do
Hilltop  Gordes  is 5 minutes away by car as is Menerbes - made famous by Peter Mayle. The coast is less than one hour away - the ‘Calanques’ near Marseilles provide safe sheltered bathing and some wonderful restaurants!
There are sandy beaches at Le Ciotat, Bandol and Cassis.  Aix-en-Provence with it elegant shops, beautiful café filled squares and summer music festival is 45 minutes away and the Luberon itself has an international Music Festival, including open-air concerts and Opera at Pierre Cardin’s Lacoste (10 minutes away).  Then there is the Opera Festival at the Roman amphitheatre in Orange (1 hour away) and of course the Festival of Avignon.
Isle-sur-la-Sorgue - Frances’ largest antique centre after Paris is a mere 20 minute drive away and St Remy de Provence, birthplace of Nostradamus, is only 30 minutes away. The Roman Pont du Gard, Uzes, Arles, les Baux de Provence and Nimes as well as the white ponies and flamingos of the Camargue make for excellent day trips  And don’t forget the delicious Côtes du Rhone wines including Châteauneuf de Pape which is at less than an hour away - as are the Roman amphitheatre and lively markets of Vaison-la Romaine!
